It means we hold a direct trading mandate from one of the largest petroleum producers in the Middle East. Rather than buying through brokers and reselling, we trade product as an authorized partner of the refinery itself. The practical difference: refinery pricing, refinery documentation, and no broker layers between the source and the buyer.
We confirm receipt of every enquiry within 24 hours, usually faster. A firm offer takes longer because it depends on refinery confirmation — typically one to three business days, depending on volume and product. We're upfront about timelines from the first reply.
For shipments from our own Dubai storage on our dedicated vessel, we can handle parcels that would be too small for direct refinery loading. For refinery-loaded shipments, the minimum is set by the refinery's loading programme. Tell us your volume and we'll tell you the most efficient route.
We trade in our own name, under our authorized partnership. Every contract is between TDK Petroleum and the buyer — we are the seller of record, with full responsibility for performance, documentation, and delivery.
We deliver wherever our refinery loading programmes and chartered vessels can reach — currently buyers in more than fifteen countries across four continents. Some destinations require additional documentation or compliance steps; we'll flag those at the offer stage.
Standard documentation includes: refinery Q&Q certificate, certificate of origin, bill of lading, commercial invoice, and packing list where applicable. SGS inspection is available on request for an additional fee. All documentation is provided in English; certified translations on request.
Letters of credit (irrevocable, confirmed), escrow arrangements through reputable institutions, or pre-payment for established relationships. Terms are agreed at the contract stage and depend on deal size and prior trading history.
Yes, on request. Jet A-1 and aviation kerosene are sourced through our refinery partnership for buyers with confirmed end-use and the appropriate compliance documentation. Aviation deals are bespoke — contact us with your full requirement.
Dubai is where the refineries are — proximity matters when you're scheduling loadings and co-ordinating vessels. Amsterdam handles European buyers and EU-specific compliance, banking, and contract structures. Between the two offices, we cover the working day from Asia to North America.
